by Leen and Friends
Assalamualaikum and greetings to everyone! Before I begin, let me introduce myself, my name is Leen, I'm now studying at one of the local universities (Secret. hehe) in Kuala Lumpur. Now it's my 3rd year. Originally from Kelantan. Ok, that's all about me. huhu.
Going back to our vacation experience in Penang, we had planned a month in advance before the semester break. So during the semester break, it will be boring to just stay at home. It's good to travel and get to know Penang. After all, Penang has many interesting places and most importantly, the food is great!
I went with my course mate. It's great compared to traveling solo. We went to Penang for 5 days and 4 nights. 2 days were just merely on the bus since we took the bus from Kelantan. We were actually in Penang for 3 days and 2 nights, exploring the vibrant experiences of Penang travel.

Trip to Penang – 31/7/2017
To summarize, Penang travel was an enriching experience filled with laughter, culture, and unforgettable moments.
Penang travel offers a blend of culture, history, and amazing cuisine that is hard to find anywhere else.
During our Penang travel, we experienced the warmth of the locals and the beauty of the landscapes that Penang has to offer.
Penang travel is not just about the destination, it's about creating memories with friends and family.
For anyone considering Penang travel, I highly recommend indulging in the local street food.
Throughout our Penang travel, we discovered many hidden gems and local delicacies that made the trip truly unforgettable.
During our Penang travel, we found that exploring local restaurants offered the best culinary experiences.
We lost nearly a day just by just sitting idle on bus. We took the morning bus from Kota Bharu, Kelantan to Butterworth station, which took us 8 hours. when we reach Penang, it was already late evening, so my friend who stayed in Penang came to pick us up and take the rest of us to her grandmother's house which is where we stayed during our trip. It has saved our money !. Hehe.
Bus ticket from Kota Bharu-Penang : RM 38.50 (one way)
Total for 2 : RM 77
DAY 2 (1/8/2017) - Penang Hill (Bukit Bendera)
Early in the morning I went to rent a car with my aunt and friend. And after finishing all the transaction, we went straight to Penang Hill or by local, it's also known as Bukit Bendera. More information about Penang Hill, you can click here.

We made sure to document every moment of our Penang travel adventure.
Usually the price is RM12 for adults and RM6 for children. If you don't want to queue for a long time, you can take the fast lane, the price is also a little expensive. Adults RM 40 and Students RM 20.
Since we took the regular ticket, so we had to queue for a longer time because there were a lot of people in queue and yes, many of them are tourist. We have to wait for a very long time.......
At the top, we spent a lot of time just taking pictures and there was one place like Namsan Tower. We also ate peanut ice cream there, only RM5 per container.
In conclusion, our Penang travel was a journey that we will cherish forever.

After eating, we went to pray zuhor (jamak) at the mosque at the top of the hill. After praying, our stomachs were already hungry so we quickly got down from Penang Hill and looked for a nearby restaurant. We were really hungry. haha. Once our stomachs full, we continued with our journey to Batu Ferringhi to watch the sunset.
Eating pasembur while enjoying the sunset is a highlight of our Penang travel experience.

Day 3 (2/8/2017)
As usual, we woke up early in the morning to get ready to continue our tour around Penang. This morning we left early and the first thing we looked for was BREAKFAST at Hutton Lane toast. Price RM 4.50 / person.
After eating, next we went to Art Street Penang which is popular place for taking photos in Penang. This is also a must-go place if you are in Penang! Since Art Street is quite a large place, we decided to ride a double bicycle. So, 2 people share one bicycle. The rental price for one bicycle is only RM 15. So it's only RM7.50 per person. Not bad ha !.
There are many beautiful art works, but we only share two over here for you to appreciate. The rest of the art works you go and see it for yourself ! 😛

We were excited to visit ESCAPE theme park of Penang during our Penang travel adventures.
Then, we went to the Dark Mansion Museum which is the museum to appreciate dark . Entrance fee: RM 21.20. For us, the entrance fee here is expensive and not really worth it. But for those who like dark lights, it will be fun for you guys.
And that's why our Penang travel experience was filled with delicious food and amazing sights.
After a tiring day, we went to Queensbay and from here we saw both Penang bridges (of course, the view is nice). We went here just to appreciate the view and take a few photos. After photo shoot, we went home and rested.
DAY 4 (3/8/2017)
After our adventures at Escape, we enjoyed delicious Hameed Pata squid noodles, a must-try during Penang travel.
This morning it was raining quite heavily but we continued our journey to ESCAPE theme park of Penang because we bought tickets a month in advance (got them cheap at RM 66.40). If you want, you can buy them on their website, the link is given above.
This Escape is suitable for anyone who is interested in extreme activities. You can try it if you go there later. Relax and have fun!

As we wrapped up our Penang travel, we reflected on the beautiful memories created during the trip.
As we packed our bags, we reminisced about the incredible Penang travel we experienced.
Penang travel is always a great idea, and we look forward to our next adventure.
Our next trip might be to Krabi, but Penang travel will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Before proceeding to the activities at Escape, we bought nasi lemak on the side road and ate in the car to save our time. When we got there, thanks God it wasn't raining because the distance from our house to Escape was quite far (1 hour drive). Yay! Can play safely!
We did a lot of interesting activities there and of cause it is adventurous ! And also we were tired. After Escape, we continued our journey to The Esplanade to to try Hameed Pata squid noodles. Price: RM 5 (cheap and delicious). You should try it!
