Our KL Tour story began when our monorail arrived at Raja Chulan station. When we first learned about the KLCC-Bukit Bintang Walkway, we were intrigued. Simplifying it, this air-conditioned pedestrian bridge connects KLCC to Bukit Bintang. Isn't it fantastic? This bridge is approximately 1.173km long, linking Pavilion Bukit Bintang to the KL Convention Centre, while the other half is a tunnel from the KL Convention Centre to Suria KLCC.

We exited at the Raja Chulan monorail station, located right in front of the Genting guesthouse, with the walkway just behind it. You can spot it from the station. Along the route, there are several exit points and stunning views. We opted for this walkway because we wanted to hike. How about you? You should give it a try!

KLCC Park

Arriving at the KL Convention Centre, instead of continuing through the tunnel to Suria KLCC, we chose to enjoy the panoramic views at KLCC Park. This park, nestled in the midst of towering buildings, is refreshing and comfortable for the eyes. Plus, there's a perfect spot to snap photos of the stunning Petronas Twin Towers, especially with beautiful weather.

Such beautiful sights await you on a KL tour; it's truly an experience worth having. We recommend taking a KL tour to truly understand the city's rich history and culture. On your KL tour, take the time to appreciate the stunning architecture and vibrant street life.

After exploring the KLCC Park, we headed to Suria Mall to cool off and continue our adventure. On our KL tour, we visited iconic landmarks that define Kuala Lumpur's skyline. We were excited to experience the delicious cuisine during our KL tour.

Every stop on this KL tour offers a unique perspective on the city’s vibrant culture. Give a try for your KL tour and create unforgettable memories as you discover the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Sultan Abdul Samad building

Our journey continued. From Suria KLCC we went to the LRT station to go to Masjid Jamek station, not far from Dataran Merdeka.

We learned so much during our KL tour, especially about the history of the places we visited. Let me tell you a little about the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, a must-see on any KL tour. It is located in front of Dataran Merdeka.

Don't forget to ask your guide about the best spots to take photos during your KL tour. Let me tell you a little about the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. It is located in front of Dataran Merdeka. It is the place where we always celebrate Merdeka (Independent) Day. This building was named after Sultan Abdul Samad, in conjunction with the name of the Sultan of Selangor when it was built in 1894.

When we got there, the sun was getting higher. It happened that the weather was really hot. My husband really likes this kind of weather. He said it was fun to take pictures.

I also managed to pose something to keep as memory for myself around the Sultan Abdul Samad building.

We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our KL tour, from the captivating sights to the vibrant sounds of the city. Don't miss the chance to immerse yourself in this unique experience!

Location: Sultan Hishamuddin Road of KL. (Between the Sultan Abdul Samad building and the train station building) or conveniently in front of the KL City Gallery (where people always take pictures of I Love KL)

Operating hours: 9.00 am - 6.00 pm. Every day except the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha holidays.
Admission is free.

What is interesting there is that the place is cool (air conditioned). Hehehehe, after sunbathing in front of Merdeka Square, entering the museum can cool down.

Oh yes, this museum has 2 floors and is divided into 4 sections. Each floor has 2 sections.

At a glance, this museum can tell a little about the wealth of diversity in Malaysian society related to the flow and development of textiles. It can also be detailed or seen the formation of Malaysian society's lifestyle through textiles since prehistoric times until now. There is also a multimedia presentation related to traditional gold and silver making.

From time to time, there will be activities related to textiles displayed there.

We spent quite some time in this museum. While relaxing we also acquire some new knowledge.

KL City Gallery

Location: Beside Dataran Merdeka
Open every day from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm and entry is free.

In this gallery we are taken to approach Kuala Lumpur from ancient times to the present through pictures and models of the buildings there. We can also learn about the history of Kuala Lumpur since it was first opened until now. There is also a 7-minute video showing the journey of a city called Kuala Lumpur.

There are also interesting spots / places to take pictures in this gallery. There is also a souvenir shop and cafeteria for visitors to buy souvenirs or to have a meal. The price is affordable for us local visitors / tourists. Hahahahaha…….. Although the price is quite substantial, my husband managed to buy a T-shirt and I bought a face mirror. What shape is the mirror, you guess.... My husband, as usual, bought a t-shirt, because he only brought one t-shirt (which he wore on his body) every time we walked or packed a bag.

It was almost 1 pm. We were already a bit tired from walking. We returned to Masjid Jamek LRT Station (along the river of life, which is behind the Sultan Abdul Samad Building) to go to KL Sentral

lunch at Pappa Rich and check in at Hotel City Central

Arriving at KL Sentral, we looked for a place to have lunch. It was almost 2.00 pm. Our stomachs were already growling. From KL Sentral we went to Nu Sentral. It didn't feel like a long journey because the two buildings seemed to have merged. Hehehehe…..

This time I'm looking for something different, last time my husband took me to the Korean store area (Family Mart). I'm surprised there were a lot of young kids there queuing up to buy ice cream. Oh yeah…… This Family Mart is near the street where people are going to take the monorail.

Ish….. I don't want to eat at Family Mart. Not my taste. Oh……. Apparently my husband took me to Pappa Rich's store (a few stores away from Family Mart).

We decided to just have tapau (local word for 'pack', originally from chinese word) food. For everyone's information, tapau prices are cheaper than eating there.

After buying food, we moved back to the City Central Hotel which is about 150 meters from Nu Sentral (just in front of Nu Sentral).

We could eat, pray and rest for a while. Since our room had no windows, we weren't sure when it would rain. What we bought at Pappa Rich (Hainanese chicken rice and vermicelli soup). Rest for a while to find some wind for tonight's journey.

Explore local markets and street food on a KL tour, where flavors come alive. The KL tour is not just about sightseeing; it's about experiencing the culture and heritage of the city.

Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, a KL tour will enrich your understanding of this amazing city.

With well-deserved rest in the hotel room, my energy was recharged. We began planning our next steps. I had never walked to Nu Sentral before, so my husband guided me there for a bit of window shopping. Although I intended just to browse, he had his mind set on finding some work clothes, claiming they were a steal!

Experience the magic of Kuala Lumpur through a KL tour, where every corner tells a story. Don't miss your chance to embark on a KL tour and see the best sights the city has to offer.

It's been a long time since I've been to CM- Central Market and also known as Art Market. It's best to go at night because there aren't many people. I also had the opportunity to shop for long-sleeved t-shirts for me and my husband to buy a t-shirt for my son Aidil. Here I recommend buying the t-shirt with the KL design. The price is really worth the quality.

From CM we walked towards Masjid Jamek. My husband wanted to have night view photo shoot.

Hehehehe don't be surprised. It's okay, he wanted to take pictures of the River of Life, Masjid Jamek. My husband enjoy very much taking pictures with a DSLR camera. It can be a hobby. Some of the pictures he took were beautiful.

What is the River of Life Masjid Jamek? You can google it to find out what it means. But for me, the River of Life is about changing people's views of the Gombak River and the Klang River, which used to be quite dirty and gloomy. Now the atmosphere at night at the confluence of these two rivers is really beautiful. It's comfortable and peaceful.

My husband left a message. Next time if you want to take pictures at night, don't forget to bring a tripod. Huhuhuhu, he forgot to bring a tripod. So he just used what he had.

We didn't stay there long. That night there was a big screen show at Dataran Merdeka. It was the Suzuki Cup final in Vietnam.

On the way back, we stopped by Papa Rich's (my husband who is craving it) for dinner and returned to the hotel to rest and sleep. We continued our trip tomorrow.

Hi, today is the second day of our short vacation. At 7 o'clock we went down for breakfast provided by the hotel. A simple breakfast of fried rice and toast.

After that we checked out and took the monorail to Bukit Bintang. The purpose was for the KL Hop-On Hop-Off. There was a kiosk there to get tickets that had been purchased online. Why buy online?, because there was a RM5 discount. So we got one ticket for RM25 per person. The ticket can be used 24 hours (our tickets start from 9.00 on Sundays - 2.00 on Mondays). For more info, you can get it [here]
